I don't know if you read this, even if this is your site or not some hijacked nonsense - but, I'm listening to a live version of 'Berlin' and , I'm thinking, is the dichotomies you, there, present the dichotomies of youth or is that strong question to life something you grow out of? I don't mean that in a cheeky way, merely I've always loved your music and always wanted to ask. Your music is so beautiful that, when I'm listening, I'm persuaded by each and every word.
Anyway, sorry for the stupidity,
Yours sincerely
PS: I don't think I understand the internet, quite, the good and stupid web - but, hopefully, a missive is still the same ( is 'missive' still allowed? )
..There have always been, and always will be history deniers. I just never thought that denial begins so soon, even while the witnesses are living. This will be an important addition to the witness list vitally necessary to keep the truth alive. I had the immense privilege of meeting with Simon Wiesenthal years ago in Europe. In our discussion he pointed out that one of his most important messages was that in addition to six million Jews murdered in camps, seven million non Jews were also murdered there. The point being that evil slaughters all, and we are all eligible to suffer from this monstrous evil known as hatred, if we ever succumb to believing that what happens to one, doesn't happen to all. Thanks Lou
Thanks for this.
