Okay, so most everyone knows I worked (note: Past tense) at Gamestop, right? Well, if you didn't, now you do. So, I've been thinking of quitting for a while. Why? Because Gamestop sucks. Well, my district does anyway. Apparently, my district is in the highest percentage of the company, always coming in first or second every week in terms of income and sales percentages (that are based off of card subscriptions and video game/movie reserves.) So, I decided its time to leave, and I put in my two weeks. To wrap things up, my former DM calls and basically tells me to leave the job, that they will work without me for two weeks. I shrug things off and head out, get a haircut and come home.
Now the good news.
Unknown to Gamestop, I've been in talks with Game Crazy (Cause I'm Craaaazeh.), who, essentially do the same job, but are much more laid back, are offering me better pay, and commission on those same percentages. Things are looking good. Should be starting soon. Will comment on this post with more info as it arises.
