Bio:

Hey People , I hope you enjoy the music I am a part of making. I perform Solo piano, do studio session work and teach piano. I do not remember a time when I did not play piano. . (began at age four). And... I love to Play!... In 2005 I moved to Montreal because I was offered a contract recording with Mat Lipscomb. I began playing funk and rock covers with Fresh Plate and vocal jazz with Josie Vie on the Plateau frequently performing at La Kemia. Recently I worked as a piano player at the Lowes Hotel in Montreal and played at Jazz Bars on the Plateau. In 2008 I performed with Paul Dolden at the Sala Rosa. We co-created a new music project called: 'Who can Play the Fastest' with the assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts. Over the past four years I have leaned how to speak French with relative success and met many great local musicians. I have also embraced French music and played a tribute to Leo Ferre at L’Escogriff . Being surrounded by creative people has been inspirational and I found it a great experience to co-ordinate an open jazz jam at La Kemia on St Denis in 2006-07. Developing a live Acid Jazz Project has been fun too, I use sequencing software and have record and performed at hip spots like Bistro Etc and Le buddhi lounge on the Plateau. Currently I am playing weekly on Tuesdays at Diese onze Jazz Bar 4115-A St Denis from 6 to 8pm (begins Feb 9, 2010) Currently working and recording with various bands like The Pirate Radio band (indie 90's covers) and Ocean Delight Ballroom quartet. I enoy writing and directing short film projects and work in the video gaming industry for Electronic Arts Montreal. I hope to meet serious minded music industry professionals to utilize the sounds I am a part of making while keeping in mind fair compensation.
