The Moor Music Festival	Jan 21 2008 6:46 PM It seems like years since the last Moorfest happened and to be honest I think the weather was very much a factor in whether people enjoyed themselves or not. Some thrived in the mud whilst others wept until their dads could pick them up. Moorfest is still carving an identity for itself and in the three years that it has been established I think I can say that the one thing that most people love about it is the friendly atmosphere, and this gig is a good opportunity to meet up with friends that perhaps you haven't seen since the festival, to make new friends, enjoy quality music, get a flavour of Moorfest if you haven't already been and also to talk to the organisers in order to give your opinions on how to improve the festival. We'll also be projecting your favourite photos that you've taken from previous Moorfests to create a live mashup that will adorn the walls of the Brudenell so please send them to bandsformoorfest@yahoo.co.uk and make sure that everyone in the picture is cool for you to use them like this. There'll be much more to boot like gorgeous organic food, t-shirt stall, films and raffles to win tickets to Moorfest 4 which we're working on right now and aim to make it the best yet. We really appreciate your continued support in making Moorfest what it is and hope to see you all there. Team Moorfest x

The Moor Music Festival 2007 lineup is now ready for your perusal in our blog and it's a cracker with some fresh new bands and artists playing such as UNDERGROUND HEROES, I WAS A CUB SCOUT and MIDDLEMAN who are all causing waves on the scene at the moment. On the dance stage acts such as CRAZY P, AUDIOJACK, SHAKES, MICHAEL MORPH, MR BEASLEY and STEPPA will make sure that you don't stop moving all night long until the SILENT DISCO kicks in where we have a field of revellers going for it until 6am but farmers nearby won't be able to hear a thing!! All eyes and ears will undoubtedly be tuned to SAM RILEY'S band 10,000 THINGS as they perform for the first time after him taking time out to star in the IAN CURTIS film 'CONTROL' which also co-stars SAMANTHA MORTON and tells the story of the life of the JOY DIVISION front man. It has recently taken the Cannes Film Festival by storm and so this exclusive performance will be a guaranteed way to finish the festival on a high!
