Writing about secular homeschooling, starting secular homeschooling groups, meeting secular homeschoolers, and trying to be the best secular homeschooler I can be. Whew. I also enjoy trying to be a good Buddhist, boating/sailing, being in/on/around/near water, laughing, spending time with my girlfriends, time alone with my husband, meeting other cool secular homeschoolers, playing Guitar Hero with my son, tattoos, "edgy" stuff, meeting positive people who challenge me to be a better person, hunting down Brazilian steakhouses, Family Bunco Night, doing what I can to help save the world, and attempting to quench my insatiable need to learn new things and start new projects. About me:
Born in the Show Me State, raised in the Old Line State, time served in the Garden State and finally at home in the Sunshine State, Stina has spent the majority of her life below the Mason Dixon line. Happily married to the love of her life, she homeschools the world's best son, now 15 and entering the 11th grade. She is also blessed with a loving zoo of pets, including a yellow lab (Casey), chihuahua (Sophie), cat (Skye) and parrot (Pablo). She loves the ocean, and nothing makes her happier than to be in, near or around water. Her philosophy on life revolves around being happy... our time on Earth is way too short to be anything other than ecstatically happy and undeniably fulfilled. When not writing bios of herself in the third person, Stina can be found out and about on Florida's First Coast soaking up sun and enjoying life.Who I'd like to meet:
