CAKOLAC: I've been rapping since middle school(I think 7th grade?), but I didn't get nice till I met niggas round my way that was nice as hell. That made me have to step my game up in order to be heard.I did alot of stuff locally such as shows, battles, and a few interviews on the Kiss 102 & 92.3 The Beat of Carolina. I formed 023rd in 2001 with R.A.Y.N.E. and Gutta Wills. In 2003 me & R.A.Y.N.E. hooked up with Damn Good Management Inc. in New York. Since then I we've opened up for Lloyd Banks & Eminem in Detroit, Mi, and are currently working on our first official mixtapeto be released first in Detroit. R.A.Y.N.E.: Yo, this hiphop sh*t is all we know, so "how we eat, is what we speak" . I've been damn near 'round the world and I still call the Carolinas home. My "rap" sheet (music) goes back some 10 or 11 years, but the game ain't change fo' me till the birth of O23rd. We've been on the grind for a minute , we on some "F- dat Get paid ish" now so expect that Carolina Dank ...... CAKOLAC: I was raised in the culture of hip hop so there wasn't just one person that influenced me to start spitting. My biggest influence, if any, was the dudes round my way stuck in the same rut I was in living in the same trap as me.
