I agree, well we teach chronic pain patients to breathe using diaphragm to off load all the other over active muscle groups etc etc to reduce pain ... i think the concept is there but we all use different languages ... what is dan tien anyway, is that the transverse abdominals or the pelvic floor there? but when u breathe "to the dan tien" ... it makes sense in rehab too, so m i confusing u? i m trying to scientify the ancient Chinese concepts
