To start off:
I AM JESS.
I AM DEEPLY AND IRREVERSIBLY ENTRENCHED IN THE WORLD THAT CLAUDIO SANCHEZ HAS SO FINELY GIVEN EXISTENCE TO.
Coheed and Cambria is so much more than just a band, this I cannot express to you enough. It is pure genius given form, it is a metaphor and example of all that is real to us through its obscure complexity, it is an intensely transcendental phenomenon not to be disregarded and this amazing body of work, the brainchild of mastermind Claudio Sanchez (*bows*) is probably the greatest thing ever to exist anywhere, anytime.
Coheed and Cambria and the general alternate world that is the amassed work of Claudio Sanchez is, to me, the most important thing to come into existence. It means more than the world to me.
I am also a spiritualist. I take concepts from religions and belief systems that I agree with. While I am not a part of any major religion, I strongly follow certain tenets from Buddhism, Christianity, Shamanism, Wicca, Druid, Hindu, etc. I am a very spiritual person, but I am not in the least religious.
The METAPHOR for existence presented in the Amory Wars and the related alternate world is a large factor in my beliefs and spirituality. You don't like it? Too bad.
I'm a nerd. I spend the vast majority of my time interpreting the Coheed and Cambria story, which I refer to by its official name, The Amory Wars. I will honestly admit that I often get choked up and emotional beyond reason when I have discovered a new aspect of this incredibly complex emotional sci-fi tale. I also love Star Wars and watch the series quite regularly.
I want to be a guitar tech so that I may work with guitars for a living. People have told me that it's totally worth going for something that is at least friendly to the area of your passion. So, music (Coheed) is my life, therefore I am going to move to New York and work with guitars for a living.
I LIKE WOMEN.
I'm also fat. Deal with it.
I am a vegetarian, but not for ethical reasons. I just don't like meat.
I have no patience for those who are currently exploiting a fashionable alienation. I also have no patience for those who purposely make their lives sound worse just to get attention.
Since Coheed entered my life I have become much kinder and gentler. If you're someone who truly loves Coheed and Cambria, I will most likely love you. I'm not angry or violent like I used to be, but I WILL get violent when Coheed is on the line.
BOTTOM LINE IS:
Love Coheed and I love you.
