[0PT-0UT] is a violent, machine-rock band from Norfolk, VA. Sensing a strong need for putting sheer brutality back into electronic music, Gabriel Perry (Hindu Pez, Deathhouse Blues, Red This Ever, We Never Sleep) and Matt McClure created [0PT-0UT]. The band has made it their goal to create the most sincere, vicious machine-rock available, holding modern music in pure contempt. While being extremely volatile, raw and visceral on record and in the studio, [0PT-0UT] is an even tougher beast live, combining an extreme stage presence, an impressive projected video that plays through performance, theatrical makeup, heavy guitars, deep synths, and pounding live drums (performed by live-only drummer CLR) to compliment drum machines. Having released their debut, self-titled EP in August, 2011 and completed their first tour with synth/rock band Red This Ever, [0PT-0UT] is currently in the studio working on their first full length LP, due out 2013, and preparing to tour with Gutter Gloss in February, 2013 on the Just Desserts Tour.
