Patricia K. Wicker~ She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November of 2004. She had the tumor in one of the worst places to have it (in the head of the pancreas and it also had attached it's self to one of the main arteries), so it was inoperable. She had chemo treatments and other experimental drugs to shrink the tumor, but it had little to no effect. She then decided to change her diet and exercise routine and focus on her spiritual and physical well being. This paid off, her tumor marker staid the same for many months, and she was able to enjoy that time with minimal pain, so that let her have better quality of life. But sadly the cancer decided it was time to grow. We lost her on November 27, 2005. She was the Essence of Beauty and Grace…and she is now "In His Grace"
Any one that has had to suffer with Pancreatic Cancer, and the family and friends of those that that have been affected.
Please visit PAT WICKER for a time line of her journey and also visit PANCAN for more informtion on Pancreatic Cancer.

I am wanting to share with everyone the seriousness of Pancreatic Cancer. There is so much talk on the news and other media about Breast Cancer, but it is now one of the easier cancers to cure (found early of course). Pancreatic Cancer is the 4th leading cause of death in men and the 5th leading cause of death in women (cancer related) in the U.S. Even if it is caught in the early stages it has a very low life expectancy. This is the reason why we need better funding for research!! Help out and let your congress know that Pancreatic Cancer is important and we are all worth the time and the money! Please do research and share with your loved ones...BEING AWARE IS THE ONLY WAY TO BEAT CANCER!
