About me:
Starting in New York on October 1, Florian Thalhofer, a new-media artist and documentary filmmaker from Berlin, will travel all over the United States by motorcycle (generously provided by BMW), while U.S. filmmaker Mark Simon will travel throughout Germany by car. During their month-long journeys, each filmmaker will write about his experiences, collect stories, and conduct interviews, all of which will be posted daily at www1000stories.com – their video log.Who I'd like to meet:
Their route will be determined by interested folks in the U.S. and in Germany who reply to their "Americans wanted"/ "Germans wanted" ad on the web. Chancellor Merkel's Calling on Pope Bendictus XVI to Clarify His Position on Holocaust Denial Comes as a Welcome Rebuke to the Faillure of the Infalliable's Foreign Policy Choices of Late. Why Must the Pope Offend Muslims Before His Trip to Turkey and Now Jews Before His Trip to Israel? For a Man who once was Secretary of State for the Vatican he lacks a certain amount of diplomacy and his own red shoe is often placed in his own mouth. Congrats to Germany on joining the great many places that have called on this Pope to make his statements and choices less offensive to people of good will, from the State of Texas which nearly indited him on conspiracy to hide Child Molesters, to the Kingdom of Spain asking for clarification on His Holinesses political intervention into Spain's internal affairs, to Turkey and now Israel's offense at actions by the Pontiff, this Pope should resign and be done with it.
