Dani Tietjen

Bio:

I am a gal who lives in North Minneapolis with her family. I am a part time speaker and co-founder of the Haiti Mission Project (HMP). I grew up just outside of Detroit MI where most of my family still lives. I moved out to Minnesota to attend Concordia University where I started studying Theater and finished with a degree in Christian Outreach and Evangelism. For the last few years I have been traveling the country encouraging and helping teach young people how to live out their faith in the response to the gospel. How can we care for the poor, misplaced and abandoned in our country and the world as our faith asks us to? I will speak to almost any group. I generally enjoy working with both males and females though I will speak to women groups as well. ..

Well, I guess as a speaker I generally do appearances by myself so what you see is what you get.

Influences:

Scripture. The Messiah. Mother Theresa. Gertrude. My parents. My husband. Music. The Theater. Reading in general. Art. Nature. Poetry. Anyone who sacrafices self for the truth of the gospel. It is rare and breathtaking to witness a person who will put their faith and trust in God above their own needs. To see people go beyond the natural response and give of themselves till it truly is a sacrafice.
