nothing I am not sure what to say in order to describe myself with any accuracy. The foundations of the world I live in are as best a way to understand me as any, though, and they are as follows. I do not view the world as if it is built on inherent absolutes and dualities, so i do not believe morality is an inherent value within our thoughts and actions (no right and no wrong), i do not believe that separation is inherent within the things we choose to categorize (no us and no them), and i do not believe that i can fit everything into a religion. I cannot even say i believe that what i perceive exists objectively, but i also feel it is the same leap of logic and faith to say what i perceive does not exist outside my own head. This sounds like i am a nihilist, and in a way i am (that is, someone else could choose to categorize me as such), but i feel it's an unnecessary attempt to label something which by its nature cannot support dualistic labels. This also sounds like dry philosophical discussion that really means--when considering my personality--that i am just an arrogant teenager who thinks because he has decided he does not believe in anything is above all others, despite the fact that his superior wordplay does not result in any tangible effect upon the way he truly sees things. This is probably true to a greater extent than i can see (i really am sorry if i'm ever arrogant to you, it happens without me realizing until after i've been a jackass). However, the philosophical statements i made really are what i base myself and my life on. I am vegetarian, but only because i do not feel like contributing to the suffering and death of animals, nor eating their corpses. I do not believe it is a "sin" or inherently worse or more wrong than anything else, i simply don't feel like eating meat. I hold compassion in high regard and try to act with as much compassion as i can, but i do so because it is a much more joyful way of living, again not because i think it is money in a spiritual bank. I do not scorn religion, i find it beautiful, and parts are useful to me and others are not. My lack of belief is not disbelief, it is the freedom of a blank canvas upon which i can do anything to the universe around me. I pray, i chant, i call out to spirits and dance for them. If it is only me who has created them, then for me they will be real, and it is not necessary for anyone else in the world to share my views. This is not to say i don't make fun of people sometimes. THAT'S MY VIDEO ..

I'm deeply appreciative that you took the time to view my stop motions. Currently, I should be working on another stop motion for this one cat, but so far, my creative process has been directed elsewhere (mainly with batik and printmaking, at the moment). I haven't been able to come up with anything for the song provided for the video. But, putting it off wouldn't solve anything.

I'd like to experiment with different types of stop motion, as you did in your videos. It's to see people who are still interested in traditional forms of animation, rather than this cg shit.

Personally, I wouldn't call myself an artist. I'm curious, is all.

(I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the link I sent. I found his site when I was searching for a photo of Isaac Asimov. I admire his extensive interest in mixed media. I've several sites I visit on a regular basis that provide some lovely pieces.
I can share, if you'd like)
