You can now add Avatars to your personal profile. Avatars will show up on posts and in your profile information when users look you up (and when users have not blocked avatars).
What are avatars, you ask...those pictures/icons providing a visual identification and personalization in peoples posts. --you should see mine in the upper right of this message--
How to set your personal avatar: Click on "My Control Center" in the menu above. on the left side menu, click "Edit My Files" (if you've already added an avatar image file, you can skip this part). then add the file you want to use as your avatar (perhaps a picture of you, your feet, your favorite character or your buddy icon)
on the left side menu, click "Avatar Options" click the radio button next to the image you wish to use for your avatar.
if you dont want to see avatars ever, check the "Block display of Avatars" checkbox and save changes.
