I wanted to be a dancer or an artist. My parents didn't believe in wispy dreams. I became a schoolteacher like the generations of women before me. What a blessing.Being a schoolteacher defines me, but doesn't limit me. I bring all my loves into the classroom. I love what I do. I live in the country on a farm and teach many miles away in the city.
My heart drives me. I left the cozy confines of my family's society for love; no regrets.
I am married to my best friend.
I'm a mother of four in a reconfigured family.
I've travelled the world but there's no place like the good old US of A.
