NYC COMPILATION
100m Records is searching for artists for a new compilation from the New York underground. If you are based in New York and would like us to review your material contact us here, via email or through Sonicbids.
WELCOME!
100m Records is a boutique record label founded in 2004 around a close-knit scene of musicians and producers in North London, UK. The primary aim of the label is to release music from these artists whilst continuing to provide a platform of opportunity to new and emerging artists within the North London area. That said, we are not opposed to releasing music from farther afield. If you feel your music suits the catalogue and our approach please feel free to get in touch!
OUR APPROACH
In a vastly globalised and fractured music industry, where major labels are losing the monopoly and independent labels can thrive on low budgets, 100m aims to provide a personal and local brand of music based on collaboration. There is no specified genre to the music that we release, only a strong commitment to originality and creativity. In essence, we like to explore new ground and we like to hear each other explore new ground.
..
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you like what you hear, support 100m artists by buying their music, seeing them live and telling people about what's going on here. If you REALLY want to help, join the street team by emailing us on streetteam@100mrecords.com and we'll send you a promotions pack with stickers, posters and flyers etc.
Hey Guys! We've got a whole new bunch of videos up!
A Lost Adoration: You may have already seen it but it's worth another look ;) Alice In Chains Cover: Taken from an acoustic set in Cardiff last year featuring some live footage from all over the UK. Live @ Hammerfest: Hear us playing "Purification" @ this years Hammerfest. Hard Rock Hell Interviews: From Dec '08, at the start of our last UK tour. We answered a load of ridiculous questions asked by Gill from Metal Hammer. There's 6 videos and they're all hilarious!
Hey guys! After a year and a half we are back charging full steam ahead with the release of our latest album "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" this past May 31, 2009. Unlike our two previous releases this was a long duration album (LP) featuring 12 all created by Pete Drown. Mike Mellow participated in the album by co-producing it and creating the art. The first single is called "Ciento Once Grados" (111 Degrees) and we have a brief video/slideshow teaser for it on our page.
We want to invite you to download our free album and share with us your feedback. All you have to do is click on the Cover art either on this message or by visiting our myspace page. There you can also download our previous two EP's if you don't have them already.
So, that being said, I hope you download it, I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you let us know. Thanks again. Micro out...

Hey What's Up, 100m Records? I'm O.G. MILLER Da Mad Scientist, THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE YOUR FRIEND!
SEND ME A ~COMMENT~ TELLING ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOU
Here's Alittle About Me:
"O.G. Miller" a certified B-Boy got his start in the business as "Duke Nuke Em", an assistant Dj in 1987 while attending high school (South High) at H.B.O. Audio & Video with Hasson Omari, Owner (which is now called O2 Entertainment, Omari Omari, Owner).
While a true fan of hip hop, "O.G. Miller" spun records for weddings, school reunions, school dances, birthday parties, ect…. Playing anything from Boston to Chicago, Fleetwood Mac to Meat Loaf to Pink Floyd to Al Green.
At that time, "O.G. Miller" didn’t understand the valuable knowledge of music that he was receiving.
Mixed with his love for Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae & Blues. "O.G. Miller" decided it was time to do something, to make something happen! And that something is to be heard at all costs!!!!!
"O.G. Miller" is on the grind to mix the HOTTEST in the game from the Twin Cities together to make ONE BIG NOISE so we all can be heard!
"O.G. Miller" has put most of his work in as a hypeman, producer, promoter & founder for SNO-CITY Ent.
Currently "O.G. Miller" is mixing the "Minnesota Grinders" Mix Tape Volumes 1 & 2 soon to be released.
"O.G. Miller" is seeking both production and distribution deals so A&R's and label reps OPEN YOUR EARS TO SOME NEW, POLISHED SOUNDS!!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask… if you haven’t already done so, make sure to leave a comment.. All your love & support is greatly appreciated!!
If you're HOT, don't worry "O.G. Miller" will find you cuz his ears are always glued to the streets!!
just wanted to let you know we are going to be down at Phonica Records in Soho (51 Poland St ) this Thursday evening (7 May) to celebrate the release of our first album.
we are putting a rather good little soundsystem in. Then we'll mix up some lovely drinks to ply you with, and go and play a few songs around 8pm. If the weather is nice the windows of the shop slide out and we'll be playing out to the street
hope to see you down there...if not I'll drink yours! - especially if I am holding a copy of the finished article (fingers crossed - they are meant to be delivered that day...)
