Computer Games, Ultima Online, Internet (duh), Football. Like to watch several sports. Not a full blown fan of anyone in particular.
Funny, I love bar games...but don't care for bars. LOL Darts...Pool...I love them...Surrounded by drunks and smoke??? Not so much.
Music
Damn near anything....minus Bluegrass, and maybe a few others.
Movies
Movies?!?!? Did someone say movies? Yes...I like movies. I think my DVD collection has broken the 500 mark. Just about any movie I will watch. Yes!! I may bitch about watching a chick flick, but I will probably watch it too. LOL
Television
Stargate SG-1, Stargate:Atlantis, Battlestar Galatica, Eureka, Heroes, Rescue Me Basicaly....Most of the Sci-Fi Channel LOL
I happened on this show called the Venture Brothers on Adult Swim...That is some funny shit! Robot Chicken can get downright crazy.
Every now and then I chill out to some documentary on the History Channel. Other than that, I don't watch network tv that often.
Books
A book? Does it come on CD?
Really though, I have to say that I don't read books that often. The last one I really read was a book on Excel. Aside from that I usually read Newsweek cover to cover so I can keep up on events.
Heroes
Heroes...What really makes a hero? Sometimes I think we throw the word out too often. Ever since 9/11, everyone has been out to class everyday people as a hero. To me? A hero is someone that gets up everyday and does what has to be done. Whether it is going to work in an office, saving lives, or fighting a war. People who do not blow off their responsibilities, and are good role models. I can't say I saved someone's life directly, but I hope my daughter looks up to me for providing for her each day and loving her with all my heart. So, I think heroes are all around us, you just have to know where to look.
About me:
Nothing like talking about yourself to make you feel self conscience. :) My name is Steve and I am typical Virgo. If you looked it up, you would most likely see a picture of me there. I generally am a quiet thrill seeker if that is possible. The places that I like to go and have fun usually don’t have thousands of people around. I prefer quieter settings that are more personal and relaxed. I like to watch some sports whether on television or in person. I can handle anything from football, baseball, basketball, to NASCAR. The things that I actually like to participate in are varied. I like to play darts, pool, cards, going to the casinos, playing volleyball, taking trips to the area parks, and maybe even fish every once in a great while. I am sure there is more that I like to do; I just haven’t found them out yet. I am not interested extreme sports or high-risk activities. I think that the potential of death is NOT worth the fun.
Who I'd like to meet: This is a loaded question..... ever? wish list? or to get hitched too? *shrug*
Who I would like to meet?
1) Osama Bin Laden. Nobody knows where he is. if I meet him, I can turn his ass in and get the reward.
2) George Bush. He needs a good smacking around.
3) George Washington. To see his take on things today seeing he was the first president.
4) George Patton. He was a kick ass general of world war II. He had a lot of character. So much it often got him into trouble.
5) Bill Gates. So he can get my mind going in the right direction so I can make millions of dollars too. that has to rub off somewhat.
6) The cast of Stargate SG-1. They wrapped up 10 years of a great show. I would like to give them a personal thanks for keeping me entertained the whole time.
7) My relatives several generations ago. I don't know much about my family tree and when you do dig, you just get names. It would be cool to meet my relatives all the way back from Europe. I mean, obviously someone in my bloodline survived the plague. That was a big deal. I would hope they were good people though.
8) Sean Connery. He rocks. It is sad to think that he will not be around forever. His acting and that voice rock.
9) Jessica Alba. Someday...she will be mine!!!! LOL
10) Hugh Hefner. anyone that old still getting that amount of action has to be doing something right. Hopefully it would rub off on me. That, and he is a great business man. I could use pointers there as well.
