10-21 is a band made up of four guys from Jackson, Mississippi. Frontman Jason Adams, guitarist Darryl Joseph, bass player Charlie Swearingen, and drummer/keyboardist Ben Little. 10-21's acoustic rock sound features songs that deal with real life situations everyone can relate to.
Jason and Charlie met when they were fraternity brothers at Millsaps College. In the summer of 2001, they played on the same rec softball team as DJ. They got together and started jamming and realized they all had something to add. Ben joined the mix shortly thereafter to add drums. They began composing and performing original music as 10-21. The name "10-21" comes from the "10 codes" used by both emergency medical personnel and the fire department to communicate by radio. "10-21" is code for "Give me a call." It also happens to be the month and day in Jason's birth date.
