Damage Studios was founded in 2002 somewhere in ANYTOWN, MA. I specialize in recording, mixing, and producing essentially EVERY type of music (other than hip-hop). From Rock to Pop, from Black Metal to Heavy Metal, Baroque to Contemporary, you name it. I'm ATTEMPTING to stay away from metalcore projects, cuz there are just too many of those bands in this area, and 95% of them SUCK.

So I run a studio. I provide the following services:

.... ~RECORDING~..

Any band, small or large, any voice-overs, small or large, any THING, small or large. As you can see on the left (and below), I have an abundance of equipment and I can tackle ANY project. If it makes a sound, I can record it.

~MIXING~..

I can take any project that has been already recorded from any medium (yes, even your old analog 1", 2", 16 or 24 track tapes) and give em the ole Damage Studios sound despite WHERE and WHEN you recorded them. From Protools to Logic to Cubase to Ableton, from 1984 to 1994 to 2004, I can get your tracks and dress them up like your mom used to dress you up for Sunday School! Although the mix will come out sounding a HELLUVA lot cooler than how you looked going to Sunday School.

So I guess that analogy doesn't really work.

.... ~REMIXING~..

I have been known good sirs and ladies, to save projects every now and again from the dregs of LOUSY MIX JOBS. It is ENORMOUSLY frustrating to have a mix that you poured your EVERYTHING into come out sounding like a can of broken assholes. This is where I come in. I can remix, rearrange, even add-on to mixes that are sub-par, sub-cool, sub-clean, or downright awful and make 'em sound like 100 bucks.

But usually it'll cost more than 100 bucks.

.... ~MASTERING~..

The newest service provided by Damage Studios, this can be a handy-dandy thing ESPECIALLY when you have already recorded a project with me because I can provide it as a package deal. Or you can call me up saying, "Hey Petey, I have a mix that needs some uber mastering!!" and I can always help a brotha out! (and sistas too!) Damage Mastering came about as a result of too many of my projects being RUINED in the mastering phase by others. See my blog posted above on this matter, as it requires some attention other than my ranting here.

.... ~ON-SITE RECORDING~..

I am fully mobile. That means I hop in my SWEET Toyota RAV4, and book it out to where you are, according to our arrangements, rain or shine, snow or ice, soccer-mom style. That thing RULES in the snow.

Be aware: There are limitations. It requires planning on BOTH our parts because I cannot simply show up and record in your basement. With all your moldy laundry and daddy long-legs hangin' out as we record. Room treatment, available space, time requirements, neighbor annoyance, all this must be planned accordingly. If you have the right kind of room and right kind of conditions, I can do the right kind of recording. If not, this service is not available to you and we must seek alternate methods.

.... ~GUITAR SET-UPS~..

Yet another new service provided by me. And here's the cool part: I can do it on-site!! Have a guitar emergency? Call me up and I'll come running, as time provides! I mean, within reason. Don't call me up during Shabbus and expect me to come and fix your guitar. But seriously, guitars, ANY KIND, acoustic or electric, 6 or 7 string, bass or not bass, I can provide setups, intonation (i RULE at this), pickup installation or uninstallation, wiring, electronics, polishing, cleaning, pruning, trimming, de-lousing, sterilizing, even disposal! This goes for EVERY bridge system you can think of too! Trem or no trem, Floyd Rose, Kahler, Fixed, Stop-tail, String-thru, you name it.

All of these services are what make up Damage Studios. My mission is to provide you with a promise of NON-SHITTY RECORDING, otherwise known as NSR.

THE NSR PROMISE..

The NSR promise is that you, the musician will be completely psyched with the outcome of your recording. It also promises that if you are not satified, I will work with you personally until you are, or simply refund your money. THAT's the NSR promise. Although feel free to consult ANY of my former clients, a few of which you might find right here on eBay.
