About me:
Hey, Im Tammin Sursok and i am an actor and a singer, I use to act in Home and Away but i quit it for now because it was getting to much with my singing and acting and thought it was time for a break!But ofcourse i'll act again because If I don't act I feel like part of me is missing. I've studied acting for eight and a half years before I started Home and Away and I did theatre for two and a half, I've been doing Home and Away for 5 years. I'm continuing to do acting and acting classes to keep the skills up, but I don't think my life would be the same if I didn't continue that, so it is very important to me still. I'll will miss the crew the most, because they work the hardest. They are there from 5 o'clock in the morning to 7-8 o'clock at night, never complaining, there every day doing the same thing when they see us come, they see us go. I know that the cast I'll be able to see because I've kept in touch with them over the past five years so I'm definitely going to miss the crew and those people who make such a difference to your life that you know you'll never see again.
MY SINGLE
My debut single "Pointless Relationship" is about a girl's view of where the relationship is going with her partner and it sounds like a negative term. But the song is more of an empowering song from a woman's perspective! It's the life of them together and it's just never going to go where it should go, and so she's saying to him this is a pointless relationship.
My music has two sides to the album, one has a pop/rock edge, and the other has more live instrumentation with a bit of an organic piano-based feel as well.

KEEP TRYING AND NEVER GIVE UP!
To all you people out there never give up it is really tough at first, and there are a lot of knock downs and a lot of set backs. You know people think I'm lucky because I started at 15 , but for so long when I was younger I kept thinking, I can't do this, because I kept getting rejected, rejected, rejected. But you have got to have rejections before you get a job. Just stay true to yourself and trust your instincts and just continue going. Because it is hard but if you know what you want then I think you can achieve that.
HOME LIFE
I have two dogs who stay with my parents at the moment -- a cross Maltese-terrier and another Maltese and their names are Honey and Smudge.
I have a very sweet tooth for chocolate!
