Reading almost anything, music, teaching my kids as much as possible, doing 'project tuff' with my girl, making the boy laugh, laughing at my husband, shopping, movies, QT with the fam. ..

Almost everything: Rock, hip hop, country, pop, r&b, classical. Martina Mcbride, Modest Mouse, Dixie Chicks, Bjork, Jet, Kiss, Jewel, The Zombies, Sheryl Crow, Elvis, The Killers, old Madonna, Paul McCartney, Electric 6, Outkast, Pink Floyd, The Fray, John Mayer, Roy Orbison, Green Jelly, Casting Crowns, The Beatles, Mazzy Star, The White Stripes, Prince. Almost anything that just sounds good. I've heard bad lyrics redeemed by good music, good music ruined by bad lyrics and vice versa. It takes alot for music to turn me off. Jaws (and basically any movie with a shark), Jurassic Park, Dumb & Dumber, Star Wars (which I had never seen until 2003), anything with Adam Sandler, George Clooney or Brad Pitt, almost any cheesy monster movie- even really poorly made ones where you can totally tell the monster is a guy in a suit. Books
Geez, I'll read almost anything once. I've read the backs of cereal boxes, and I read alot of parenting magazines. I love Anne Rice, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Dean Koontz, LaHaye & Jenkins. Mystery/suspense mainly, but I like inspirational writing, courtroom drama, anything that's well-written. The Bible, Angela's Ashes, 'Tis, The Brethren, The Left Behind Series, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Taking, The Vampire Chronicles, The King of Torts. My sister has tried in vain to get me into chick lit, but even the well-written ones are still trite and usually just pretty laughable. They usually just end up making women look bad! ..Heroes

About me:
I love being a stay-at-home-mom, and I hate being called a housewife. As if. I want to teach my kids everything I know- which is a moderate amount about an insane variety of stuff. I tend to be pretty sarcastic and so does my husband, so every now and then we have these intense moments when one of us has to go, "Wait. Really?" I love reading and watching movies. My favorite thing to do, though, is just play with the kids and not have to think about whatever else needs to be done. My kids really are two of the most interesting people you could ever meet... Even considering only one of them speaks good English.
