The Committee is a group of first class, professional musicians dedicated to their craft. Each member brings a deep background in Jazz and delivers their own fresh sound to the original arrangements composed by the group’s leader, Jason Bond. This original music is inspired by the traditions of the greats from the past such as Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong. Jason's lyrics have been compared to those great words of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and poets such as Edgar Allan Poe. .. .... .. The Committee has been blessed to share the stage with such great performers as Leon Russell, Lydia Pence, The Mother Truckers, Tommy Castro, John Lee Hooker Jr., Roy Rodgers, Keith Grenninger, and Sherry Austin.
