Bio
Soul Music... ...“It’s my life,” said Jason Bond in a recent interview with Snazzy Productions’ founder “Sleepy” John Sandage on his KPIG Sunday morning radio show, Please Stand By. .. .. The Committee is a group of first class, professional musicians dedicated to their craft. Each member brings a deep background in Jazz and delivers their own fresh sound to the original arrangements composed by the group’s leader, Jason Bond. This original music is inspired by the traditions of the greats from the past such as Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong. Jason's lyrics have been compared to those great words of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and poets such as Edgar Allan Poe. .. .... .. The Committee has been blessed to share the stage with such great performers as Leon Russell, Lydia Pence, The Mother Truckers, Tommy Castro, John Lee Hooker Jr., Roy Rodgers, Keith Grenninger, and Sherry Austin. You'll see them share the stage with many more to come during the 2011 year. .. We're sure you’ll love this exciting blend of poignant lyrics and honest music. Be sure to watch out of an upcoming EP and full length album later in the year. -

Sounds Like
With a fresh, driving catalog of newly composed original music, lead guitarist Jason Bond and his lineup of first class musicians are suited up and ready for their debut. Tackling love, heartbreak, addiction and triumph, expect to be moved with flashy horn lines and soulful vocals on top of a grooving rhythm section. As they blend genres and style with ease, don't be surprised if you shake your thang as you listen to some of the best music around.
