Bio
Mike Kirsch and Aaron Cometbus together again after ten years, teamed up with Devon and Craigums from What Happens Next! Fast, melodic hardcore with a solid classic East Bay edge, tastefully filtered through an infusion of 80's DC sounds. .... Story of this band goes as such: Devon gives Mike and Aaron some lyrics a few years ago. Mike writes riffs, Aaron pounds his palms on his knees and the two of them make Devon's lyrics into the songs you'll soon hear. They record it with Mike playing through a practice amp and Aaron banging on his legs and beat-boxing and both of them singing..... They give the tape to Devon so he can learn what has become of his lyrics and to get them down in their new song format. Then Aaron asked if I'd be interested in playing bass so I stepped in and learned the songs and then we recorded them in my garage a month later..... So, I have only very limited creative input with this project, and therefore probably shouldn't be the one answering questions, but then there's probably not much to ask about a band that has never played a show. The night we finished mixing Aaron flew back to Florida, and that was the last we saw of him. I get postcards every now and then, and we all had a part in designing the record, but that's about all the interaction we've had as a band since we recorded about a year ago. Hmm, how's that for a history? (By Craigums taken from Missing Link Records) -
