Andrea and Aerin are not only musicians, songwriters, and performers, they are also activists. Andrea is on the board of the Chicago Recycling Coalition, a group dedicated to making source-separated recycling a reality in Chicago. They have organized a benefit concert the past to years to called "Rock Against the Blue Bag" to raise money for the organization. Their songs deal with issues concerning animal rights, alternate spirituality, environmental activism, and issues concerning the queer community. Their songs have been included on various compilation CDs, such as "Big Fish, Little Fish 2" on Sweet Pickle Records, which benefits the Chicago Abused Women Coalition, and "The Goddess Within" put forward by the group Artists for Change, which benefits various organizations concerned with preventing and educating about domestic violence.

About me:
Andrea & Aerin are known for gorgeous vocal harmonies & stellar songwriting. Their recordings & live shows include tenor guitar, computer samples, piano and 6 string guitar. They play both electric/acoustic shows and more traditional acoustic folk shows. Their most recent recordings, Birthmark & Numinous, were created with Joe Cassidy of Assassins (Arista Records). In 2004 the duo played many colleges and festivals including The National Women's Music Fest, Iowa Women's Music Fest, Queer is Folk, Estrojam, and at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Andrea & Aerin have shared the stage with talent such as Dar Williams, Melissa Ferrick, Michelle Malone, Kinnie Starr, Lowen & Navarro, Zoe Lewis, Gail Ann Dorsey and Ember Swift.Who I'd like to meet:
