104.7FM The Rocket is a small radio station located in Enid, Oklahoma. Northwest of Oklahoma City. We Play what We Want! We are a member of the Pacifica Radio Network, and stations around the world pick up our radio stream in High Definition quality to re-broadcast some of our radio shows and specials. Just recently, we teamed up with a radio station in Colorado for a live simulcast of the debut of Joe Cockers new CD and an in studio interview. Kind of a radio first. And Last February 2, we brought tommy Tutone to Enid for Scotts Big Birthday Bash! And March 29th, Jim Dandy and Black Oak Arkansas performed at Crappy's Warehouse for The Rocket's Jim Dandy Birthday Bash. A very talented group of musicians (Thanks Ricky Lee for the Guitar pic!). Great syndicated locally produced shows, like The Mysterious Hours of Dr Fear on Sunday nights at 8pm Central. Followed by Johnny loathing with Heavy Metal and cover songs with an attitude. During the days, Scott And Anita are on from 7 till 9am visiting with our Co-host Bob Birch from the UK, Ms. Shirley Q. Liquor, TV Boy Dave, The Gospel Weather Choir, Vernon Wormgear, owner of the Wormgear Mall, and tons of insanity with our weather and race reporter Mike Hoffman. Afternoons are the domain of Mike Andrews, our Donut eating cop who does the 3pm till 7pm drive home. During racing season, we have one of the most listened to Racing Talk Shows in the world on the Rocket, With Speedway Madness. And good classic rock, mixed with some of todays best new music and indie artists. Live interviews, insanity, community and world information, and natural health. We are advocates for freedom of speech, think that big media sucks and leans the wrong way, and carry BBC or Pacifica Newscasts, cause they tell you the other side of the story too. It all started out as a lark, got locally big, hit the internet just so we could stream to our Hi-Def equipment, you found us and now we are out of control. Lost lol...I lost my compass! going nuts ...doing a 40 show coast to coast tour for THE TENNESSEE THREE + 30 other concerts, its an incredible amount of work. Hope all is well, whats new at the rocket. I need to get a Rocket shirt, and represent up here...

Well...If Scott still hasn't gone to visit his Momma...He neeeeds a butt kicking!! I sat thru 6 days of Sponge Bob Square Pants and his friends with the grandsons last week..I'm very patient..Just tickled me that Scott got the autograph for me.. thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday the 13th tomorrow.
