About me:
I met a girl
she was quite mad,
and as she spoke
she raised her hands;
reaching out
as if to grasp
some ideal
to understand.
She wanted to know every thing;
obsessed with what she couldn’t see.
Throughout this conversation
She began to laugh
hysterically.
Greatly I was horrified;
Oh me, what a shock!
I could not stop,
to save myself,
that incessant ticking clock.
The mirror does betray me!
The reflection it does lie!
Showing me that twisted face;
that lunatic
Was in my mind.
How did she get in there?
How can I get her out?
I began hitting myself in the face,
it didn’t work.
What’s this about?
I tried to reason with this monstrous voice inside my head,
But instead of exorcising her
she kicked me out instead.
