My main interest is mountain biking. I got into it about 10 years ago, and have been hooked since the first ride. I borrowed a friend's bike, and the next day after riding went and bought my own. I also like playing around on the computer, nothing too serious though. And I really like just driving around in my truck exploring new areas.Music
My all-time favorite is Andrew Peterson. His music has always been an inspiration to me, with his honesty and imagination about everything. Some other favorites are: Justin McRoberts, Jill Phillips, Bebo Norman, Sara Evans, Brad Paisley, and oddly enough Flyleaf.Books
Donald Miller (Blue Like Jazz) has been my favorite author this past year or so.

About me:
I'm 32 years old, live in Acworth, GA working as a fire department dispatcher. I recently finished up treatment for cancer for the second time, and have a new outlook on life. I received a clean bill of health, and look forward to making the most out of life. At the beginning of the year, I'm going to start training for the LiveStrong Challenge bicycle ride. I'm excited about it, as it is something I can do to give back to the support system that helped me out when I was going through my cancer treatment. It will be a fun time for sure. My past posts are basically everything I went through during the treatment, and the following posts will mostly be about getting into shape enough to do the challenge, and probably everything else too. I believe 2009 is going to be a good year for me. At least that's what I'm praying for. .. .. .. .. ..Who I'd like to meet:
