The "T-Room" has been a local landmark for 50 years!!! Est. 1961... A laid-back neighborhood bar in North Portland's University Park District. A working-class area of modest homes, heavily populated by college students attending the nearby University of Portland. As neighborhood taverns go, this one has a sort of scruffy charm about it, with graffiti everywhere, on the walls and ceilings. Aided and abetted by the management and staff, of course, and added to by regular annual contributions from the graduating class of the University... ..The front area, with the bar and booths, comprises the original tavern. The back of the bar opened up in the first expansion several years ago, and farther back was finally opened up in a more recent expansion. We even have a sweet garden patio!!! ....The Twilight Room has been in business since 1961, and is run by an excellent staff. The building itself was built in 1925! The place has made its concession to the times in the availability of beer on tap and awesome burgers. Twenty years ago, this was just another tavern with a very ordinary range of cheap megalagers, usually Blitz, Olympia, and Budweiser; now, the microbrews dominate the megabrews, there are even a couple of handpumps for seasonal cask ales. ....We've got GREAT pub food, burgers, sandwiches and fries. Salads, along with snacks and appetizers!!!....3 Pool tables, Pinball, darts, video poker, & more... ....Every Wednesday & Saturday we have Karaoke with The Captain & his Crew.....Thursday nights are LEGENDARY at The Twilight Room. For decades it has been also known as U of P ladies night, very often there is standing (or dancing) room only! Hosted by several local Dj's, it's a sight to be seen! And on Sundays, we've got tons of games up on all of our big screens, ask about our awesome breakfast special!

Friday nights at The Twilight Room, we host some of the most AMAZING Funk, Jazz, and Dub bands on the west coast! We've got both Portland locals and touring bands from Vancouver BC to San Diego, California. So come down and shake your booty to the best live music on Friday night in North Portland!!!!

And on Sundays, we’ve got tons of games up on all of our big screens, ask about our awesome breakfast special!!!
