Kol Hacampus 106fm Tel Aviv, is the radio station of the "School of Media" at "The College of Management - Academic studies", associated to the “Voice of Israel” educational Radio. Serving as DJs and hosts at the station are media students, who combine their academic curricular activities, with actual broadcasting practice. As a college radio station, Kol Hacampus is identified as a clear alternative to mainstream Israeli radio, both in regards to content and musical agenda. The students are examined by their creative abilities, as well as for their innovative approach. The hosts use the straight forward, hip language of their fellow students and discuss items of special interest to them. The station’s unique musical orientation is a freestyle fusion of various genres: Electronic music, Progressive and Alternative Rock, world music, and Hip Hop. Up and coming local groups are regularly invited to the station for interviews and live sets. The subject matter, in both the radio's talk and music programs is not influenced by ratings or commercial considerations due to the special nature of the station. The broadcast is free of news, weather and traffic reports, as well as free of advertisement. The station manager, DJs and hosts initiate numerous contacts with fan listeners, as well as collaborations with other college radio stations around the world from Germany to San Francisco. Other programming includes live sets by local and international Djs.
