THE STONYS are the HIGH TIMES Movie and Television Awards. The 10th Annual Stony Awards will be held on Thursday, September 30th 2010 at the Music Box in Los Angeles. Hosted by Hollyweed's most famous celebrities (you know who they are, don't you?), this year's event promises to be the most exciting Stonys in history. We will be celebrating a decade of stoner films, including Scary Movie, Grass, Super Troopers, The Simpsons, Weeds, Family Guy, a/k/a Tommy Chong, Grandma's Boy, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Entourage, The Wash, Dazed and Confused, and of course, the all-time box-office winner Pineapple Express.

This year's performers will be Craig Ferguson & The Nasty Delicious, Dan Finnerty of the Dan Band, Zachariah & The Lobos Riders, and Leon of Leon & The Peoples. Celebrity attendees include Rob Corddry (The Daily Show, Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay), Doug Benson (The Marijuanalogues, Super High Me), Pauly Shore (The Weasel), Guillermo Diaz (Half Baked, Weeds, Chappelle Show, Cop Out), Alan Tudyk, the Broken Lizard Comedy Troupe, plus many more surprise guests.

Notable nominees for this year's awards include: Leaves of Grass, Hot Tub Time Machine, South Park, How Weed Won the West, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Entourage, Treme, Get Him to the Greek, The Runaways, It's Complicated, and Cheech & Chong's Hey, Watch This. The star power assembled this year will be beyond anything yet seen in the cannabis community as Stony of the Decade Award will be presented to the celebrities who have done the most to help legalize marijuana. And as always, the trophies given out will be functional bongs.
