About me: I am currently a Master's student of Religion at Point Loma Nazarene University. I love movies, salsa dancing and traveling the world when I don't have my nose in a book. I sickly love to write papers. I'm passionate about people's stories and how they fit into the overarching grand story that is God's. I'm a volleyball player and the oldest of four "Young Wallaces". I have the biggest, fattest, loudest, craziest family ever and I love them all with my whole heart. I like tall, dark, handsome men, with zest, a colorful sense of humor and a correct curiosity about all things. I love milk and Baileys, and italian food...correction: all food really. Red wine all the way. I study philosophy, theology and psychology, but really am a student of life and everything it poses. I'm content with my confusion (most of the time) and am certain that mystery and truth go together. Reality and Symbol cannot be distinguished from each other. I wish I was more creative, but I love doing paint-by-numbers :) I do love to sing, so I suppose this is my artistic outlet. The Bible is tough, but I try to understand it...that is, when I read it. I think (and thank, in the Heideggerian sense) that love, as exampled by Christ, is what has and will redeem(ed) us all. Peace and Grace to you.
I have been playing a lot - it's a great stress reliever. Need to take voice lessons though, it's like being a cowboy who can't ride a horse. Pretty important...
LUAREN!! how was the rest of tahoe? i know that seeing me in the hallway for 30 seconds at 3 in the morning was basically the climax of the whole trip but did you at least semi-enjoy yourself?
Friends? Well, your spoon was in my soup so that has to count for something. As for any romantic feelings towards Kierkegaard, the "second date" is going much better than the first, but that is due in large part to a fabulous book I picked up. Perhaps I'll tell you more about it later assuming you don't pull a Cinderella and turn back into a test proctor at the stroke of midnight Sunday yet again.
Stopping by to say hello and thatI'm thinking of you. We arrived in New Zealand two days ago and our planning planning planning. Say hello to Pescadero, Ryan, Farmer's Market, Ruby, etc. hah. Oh, did we win our last softball game? Adn how is volleyball going? LOVE, Han
Oh YOU. I love your "about me" section. (Why do I feel so cheesy saying that?) I hadn't read it until today. SOO wonderfully, beautifully Lauren. I want to be on the couch having fits of raucous laughter with you right now!
