About me:

.. My Name is Eudora Alice Welty, I was born in Jackson, Mississipi, on April 13,1909, to Chestina and Christian Welty. With my two younger brothers, I was reared in Jackson, although neither of my parents were from the Deep South. My father came from Ohio, and my mother was from West Virginia. Both were teachers by trade until the family moved to Mississipi, where my father entered the insurance business. I do remembered a very happy childhood in which I was surrounded by books and loved listening to my parents read to each other in the evenings. Eudora Welty attended Mississipi state college for women 1926 to 1927, University of Wisconsin in 1929, also attended Colombia University and graduated school of business 1930-1931. ..
