Singer-Songwriter, guitarist and performer Jeff Pike sits down with Paul Leslie to talk about his inspirations behind songwriting, jazz as an influence in writing island songs, his early musical memories and the new songs on his album with his band A1A, Beachwrecked, including the song The Steller Song Lines written in memory of the Steller Sea Cow. Tune in for an interesting perspective, and some music you will not hear anywhere else.

The official CD Release party will be held at The Enormous Wild Wing Cafe Tiki Hut Patio Bar in Marietta, Ga. on June 6, 2008 from 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM. Jeff, Koney and James and special guest Laurie Ann Kolasz will be playing tunes off of the CD as well as all of your A1A and Jimmy Buffett Favorites.
New CD's, Posters and T-Shirts will be for sale, there will be drink specials and it will be a WILD party! Jimmy is in town the night before so make plans to stay over for another amazing party! Many Hotels nearby!
A1A TO PERFORM AT FLORIDAZE FESTIVAL NEW SONG ON BENEFIT CD
SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008 The Trade Winds Island and Beach Resort - Tampa, Florida
The Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club, along with Parrot Head Clubs from all across the state of Florida, would like you to join us for the First Annual Floridaze Beach Festival. This promises to be a phenomenal event with the cream of the Trop-Rock artists performing throughout the weekend and a major fund raising event for The Save The Manatee Foundation. Many Major Trop Rock Artists, including Jeff Pike of A1A, have all written a song for a major benefit CD for The Save The Manatee Foundation which will be released on Friday, May 16 during festival. Jeff's song "The Steller Songlines" from the new A1A CD "Beachwrecked" was chosen to be included on this CD.
A1A performs Saturday afternoon on the beach from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Jeff Pike will host the song writers jam inside later that evening at 10:00 PM. For more information go to WWW. FLORIDAZE. ORG

Beachwrecked takes up where Ship Happens!! left off and is another perfect CD to put in and enjoy while living your summer days this year. We have posted songs from the new CD on our Myspace, A1A Home Page and Meet The Phlockers website and will be posting more until the Official Release of The CD on June 6, 2008 in Atlanta, Ga. at Wild Wing Cafe's Tike Bar Patio in Marietta. The long awaited follow up to A1A's first all original CD Ship Happens!! will finally be officially released in May of 2008. To give listeners a sneak preview of what will be showing up on your beach as spring is ushered in I will be posting new songs from Beachwrecked along with "Behind The Music" information about the songs twice a month on our MySpace web site. The first song I have posted is entitled, "The Stellar Song Lines". Enjoy the song, the story and most of all please pass it along to all of your beach loving friends. I will be sending out periodic updates to make sure everyone has the official heads up on what is going on with the band and with the release of Beachwrecked.
