Wonderland Dementation Dept. are back.

After a 3 year long break we're finally back, damn it feels great to say those words.

The re-release of Conquest of the Last Frontier happen as I write this. The promotion trip will start next week. And even better - new songs are now being written, and we can't wait to get back in rehearsal to see what we will come up with. Right now it feels beautiful to be back.

THE NEW RADICAL GOTHENBURG SOUND

WONDERLAND DEMENTATION DEPT. is mental guerilla warfare through a melodic hardcore sound. Inventive grooves and heavy riffs are complemented by radical lyrics with catchy hooks and melodies.

The seed for WONDERLAND DEMENTATION DEPT. was planted in Gothenburg, Sweden, by a few individuals sick and tired of the conformity in heavy rock music. By mixing influences from hardcore, metal, emocore and sludge with the addition of melodies, a distinctive sound emerged. Dementation worked very hard through a number of line-ups and incarnations, writing new songs and playing live around Gothenburg and Sweden through most part of 2004.

In early 2005 Dementation finally entered the studio to record their long awaited fullength album The Awkward Silence. In March a teaser was released, Hypnosis bacame the first single from the fullength album and recieved excellent reviews for its unique style.

In early July The Awkward Silence was released in Sweden and all through the fall of 2005 it's being release in the rest of Europe and the US.

In 2006 the band planned on it's great return with the follow-up to the debut album. The new album Conquest of the Last Frontier was both more angry and intense, but also more melodic than the band ever been before. However, during the mix of the album vocalist Daniel Palm decided he had enough and left the band. The band played one last show at the releaseparty for Conquest of the Last frontier and after that they took a very long break from Wonderland Dementation Dept.

In July 2006 the COTLF finally got it's worldwide released by Mind Riot Records/The Orchard, but due to the circumstances there was sadly no promotion for the record.

So was that that end? Hell no...

April 2009 - Wonderland Dementation Dept. are back.

Conquest of the Last Frontier is now getting it's re-release, once again by MRR/The Orchard. This time around there will be plenty of promotion for the record, we're definitley gonna make sure that you all will hear about it. The promotion trip starts now.
