I am open to working on just about any type of original project a guitarist like myself might expect to be presented with these days, whatever that means. I am though however comfortable with a more blues oriented playing style when it comes to hooks and guitar solos and for the most part I really like to work toward getting the tasty licks out of my guitar when it comes time to do my bit. There are a couple web-cam videos in my videos link on this page that show the guitar neck very well as I play through a couple of examples of the kind of writing's that I have done in the past, but I am not exactly a master web-cam producer. I am not a big effects runner and I like to be able to set down a good sounding guitar amp wherever it needs to be, grab a guitar, jack straight into it and get a groovy more straight forward guitar sound while using just a guitar amp, a guitar cord, and a guitar without having to mess with a bunch of gadgets. I've gotten burned out on having to mess around too much with my sound when I'm trying to do something or becoming dependant upon some artificial gimic sound devices that might not be there next time when I'm tryin tah get my guitar ya-ya's. Oh sure I got racks of stuff to mess with if someone really needs it on there but usually I find out that engineers at the sound board don't want a bunch of junk on your guitar sound and most fifteen year old kids in thier bed room can sound like Joe Satriani if they buy enough gadjets at the guitar store. I can recall one night when I was helping Uli John Roth set his stuff up that what he ended up doing was to find a nice stout wooden table and in the middle of that table was placed a very small one speaker Pevey Decade amp with a mic in front of it, behind a wall of empty Marshall stacks. I love to play guitar at live shows because being able to feel the impact of everything that goes on there when you're gettin an awsome live sound never really compares to what it might be like when you're trying to reproduce it in the studio.

This is the Portable Quad-ru-pole that I designed and built, Portable Particle Beams are no good without them.
About me: I love breaking bottles from the hip!! However I'm just another guitar player and airbrush artist that loaded up all his guitars and guitar amps and left home to go to Hollywood of all places. If you could imagine living in an ElCamino with a bunch of guitars and guitar amps and doing nothing except going from one jam to the next, the first place I landed was Mars Recording studio. There at the front desk was a kid playing a BC Rich and it was Dave Mustain, Dave would later present me with a real eye opener when I went with him to his gig and I laid eyes on the first mosh pit I had ever seen, it was like cock roaches on speed! Well I asked Dave at the desk if he might know of anyone needing a guitar player and Dave said "as a matter of fact, come back here", it was the Bruce Elliot Band and thier guitarist had been stolen by the Michale Jackson tour, next thing I knew I was the only white boy playin blues guitar in an R&B group. I played guitar in lotza different bands and recorded when ever I got a chance just going from studio to studio and eventually I even recorded for a couple of movies when I met a nice lady movie producer named Penelopie Ann Spheris. Penelopie showed me a reclining lawn chair on her patio deck where she discovered her late husband one day after he passed away from a drug over-dose leaving her to carry on as the producer for a movie studio that he owned. Penelopie was busy working on a new movie that she called the Metal Years and I was more than happy to do studio guitar work for the sound-track, ( http://addpro.imdb.com/name/nm1624051/ ). One day it was especially amusing when Penelopie played a message for me that she found on her answer machine and to find out that it was actually Dave Mustain sobbing and sniveling and trying to be very appolagetic for things that he said while he was shit-faced the night before, but it didn't seem like any of this really bothered her any, Penelopie later went on to produce Wayne's World and she actually turned down the offer to do Fright Night. I also did airbrush art for record labels and set everything up so they could print record album covers back in tha day before they had computers, itz so easy to produce an album cover now that I'm gettin too lazy to produce one for myself. I met a lot of groovy people and stumbled into some perty awsome stuff to say the least, but nothing beats playin guitar at a live show when yer gettin that awsome live sound, belive it or not thunder just crashed outside right while I was typin that, see what I mean?

Well the filmmaker community was starting to get a bit stagnant due the fact that I was the only administrator and coder so the business side of the site kept me plenty busy. I have now migrated the users and posts to a location where there is more support, admins, and coders. The merger was with scenespot.com a social networking site that I purchased. All usernames and passwords from indierevolt.com are the same and your information is all still stored within the new database :) IndieRevolt.com will now redirect you to Filmmaker Community since migration we have already received new filmmakers and we hope that the trend keeps up :)
Scenespot.com - a place for shens Thank you
