.......... Why would two veteran singer/songwriter/guitarists like ..Scott Singer.. and ..Jackie Wilson.. put solo careers on hold, joining forces to create "10 Cent Cigar"? "We thought it would be a blast", says Wilson. "We both needed to get back to basics; play classic music that people know and enjoy." In the 80's and 90's, both Singer and Wilson fronted rock bands, but even then they couldn't resist unplugging to play a few tunes together. ..Mike Childree.. would show up later in the game, to add low-end support and drive on acoustic electric and upright basses... .. .."10 Cent Cigar".. showcases their unique take on acoustic rock hits from the likes of The Beatles, CSNY, Eagles, and their own original tunes.
