What would you get if you took the the Roots… Mixed in a dash of the Black Eye Peas…and sprinkled in some Rock, Jazz, Southern Soul, and even a little gospel…Its easy…you would get 10DeepXP!!! The Hottest new Band to hit the scene in a LONG time! So how did this hip hop Phenomenon come to be?? Well, 10 is a long time local rap artist who has always been known for his story telling and having a flow that is not only unique but relevant and meaningful at the same time. His first three albums, along with numerous victories in freestyle battles & musical competitions, earned him a solid reputation in the Nashville Music Scene. After finishing his 4th solo project, Crystal Staircase, he linked up with the Genius band to perform at his album release. The Genius Band was comprised of 4 accomplished and incredible musicians. Julius Genius, who was a well established keyboard player and Musical Director. Mike E, who was a renown Guitarist and also had a previous solo career as a gospel rapper. Don Adams, who's incredible Bass playing landed him on tour with many R&B legends. And Bam Richardson, an incredible young Drummer that had gained endorsements from D-Drums & others by the age of 21. 10 & The Genius Band started rehearsing together on a cold November night in an open garage with no heat but the flame that ignited when they played together that day was enough to heat up that garage and the audience that saw them perform three days later. 10 then called up a long time friend Katrice Donaldson, who first recorded with 10 in 1998 and is a highly talented singer with a beautiful voice. 10 knew she would be a beautiful fit with the band and asked her to join with them. So 10, Katrice & the Band unified to become 10DeepXP. Thier chemistry began to get stronger the more they performed together and they continued to leave audiences in awe as their reputation started to grow. Their was no doubt that something special had been created. So who is 10DeepXP??? More than just a band… they are grown up music offering something that the industry is starting to miss…real stories, real fun, real talent, REAL MUSIC…all while not forgetting to give glory to God But to really know what 10DeepXP is all about….Well… you just have to XPerience it for yourself!!
