Mein Musikstil fängt in den frühen 40igern an und endet in den späten 50igern. Ich spiele eine bunte Mixtour aus Jive, Swing, Doo Woop, Boogie Woogie, Western Swing, Hillbilly und Rockabilly, ohne auch nur ansatzweise langweilig zu klingen. Ich vergesse dabei auch nicht die aktuellen Authentic Bands in mein Set einzubinden.
Meine Anfänge als DJ machte ich 1999 auf verschiedenen kleinen Partys in Regensburg. Weil die Rhythmen mich immer weiter in ihren Bann zogen, wurde meine Plattensammlung immer größer und das Verlangen nach guter, alter Musik immer intensiver. Damals gab es in Regensburg schon eine kleine Rock´n´Roll Szene, die sich immer im slick50 Live-Club einfand, um den guten alten Rock´n´Roll zu hören; ich wollte jedoch die Musik noch mehr Leuten näher bringen.
2001 veranstaltete ich mein erstes Konzert mit Mars Attacks im Hinterhaus. Bis 2003 legte ich in verschiedenen Clubs und Bars auf. In demselben Jahr war dann meine erste große Veranstaltung im Kolpingshaus (Tanzfete). Ab November fand jeden Freitag ein Record Hop im Kullman´s Diner statt.
2004 war mein erstes großes Auslands-Meeting in Senigallia, der SummerJamboree, wo ich viel positive Resonanz bekam. Im Juni dieses Jahres gründete ich mit DJ Dynamike den Rock´n´Roll Club in der suite15, der jeden Donnerstag statt findet und sich einer großen Fangemeinde erfreut. I come from Regensburg, Germany and I have devoted myself to the music of the 40s and 50s.
My favourite kind of music is everything from Boogie Woogie, Doo Wop, Jive and Swing to Rockabilly and 50s Rock ‘n Roll.
I made my first experiences as dj in 1999 at various parties all over my hometown. Step by step, I got addicted to these rhythms and my collection of records became bigger and bigger. Actually, the desire for good, old music became more and more intense.
At this time, there already existed a small Rock ‘n Roll scene in Regensburg. They always met at a club called slick50, in order to talk about and listen to the good old Rock ‘n Roll. But I wanted to bring this music to more and different kinds of people.
2001, I arranged my first concert with Mars Attacks in the music bar Hinterhaus. Until 2003, I had various dj performances in different clubs and bars all over the town. In the same year, I organized biggest event so far, called Tanzfete. It took place in a ballroomlike setting, the Kolpingshaus, two bands played, Mars Attacks and The Bricats, and the peolpe could dance as well as dine and revel in nostalgic feelings. Since November of that year, we made a Record Hop once a week at the local Sam Kullman’s Diner.
2004, I got enlisted in the Summer Jamboree in Senigallia, Italy, and I received al lot of positive feedback. Shortly before I went to Italy, dj Dynamike and I founded the Rock ‘n Roll Thursday in the suite15, Regensburg, and until now, we have gained quite a big fan community.
