Many will recognise the name as the winner of the Marine Parade remix competition for his Stone Lions “Snow Over Arizona” mix which had Adam Freeland rocking it over sound systems worldwide. Since then he has released dance floor smashes for the likes of Burrito, Neon Wax and Meat Katie's 'Lot 49'. His productions have been used on Ministry Of Sound and Technics compilations and gained support right across the board from the likes of Groove Armada, Cagedbaby, Streetlife Dj's and Eddy Temple Morris.
Not easy to pigeonhole, his sound crosses over from big room electro-house cuts like "The Touch" and his remix of Cagedbaby's "Forced", to more indie led tracks like "Sonic Weapon" and his remix of Digitalism's "Taken Away" which gained him some serious respect from the self-styled French glitch 'clique'. Not worried about how he is categorized - although DJ magazine described his sound as "Justice in a washing machine"- he just wants to get people moving as much as possible and when you see the reactions to cuts like "Sonic Weapon" you'll see people wipped into a frenzy unsure of what just happened.
10 Rapid is currently in the studio recording his debut album "Minor Riot" for Exceptional records, the first single "Minor Riot" / "Start Marching" is due out in Febuary 2009.
