Toronto songwriter Joshua Cockerill found his country roots growing up in Alberta. After moving to Toronto, he took to writing and performing alternative country music, reflecting his western pride with an eastern big-city sensibility. After kicking around the local music scene for a few years, Joshua decided to break his piggy bank and independently finance his first recordings.
