10th Concession

Ian and Evan Koteles started playing music around their hometown of Tampa, Florida in early 2004. For years they gigged in every restaurant corner, smoky bar and at every neighbor’s birthday party where they perfected their craft of songwriting and performing.

In 2007, the duo moved to Nashville where they would spend more than a year writing and recording their current self-titled album, “10th Concession”, the title of which is derived from the street that their father, and greatest musical influence, grew up on.

The fun part began upon their return to Tampa, spending hours a day surfing Craigslist for the perfect rhythm section to join forces with. Their surfing paid off in late 2009 when they found Matt Brady and David Daniels.

With the additions of Matt on bass and David on drums, 10th Concession evolved from an acoustic duo to a band of 4 with a mission to take music back to the basics.

Their foundation is built upon sibling harmonies, accessible melodies and musicality that can pack a tasteful punch. This is a band that has the versatility to appeal to all ages and demographics.

Currently the guys spend their time self promoting and booking while perfecting their live performance. On track to perform well over 150 shows in 2010, the drive and progress in such a short amount of time has been truly inspiring.

2010 marks the beginning of 10th Concession.
