Ten Toes Over is a collaboration of efforts from four school friends from Marlborough, Wiltshire, who share a passion for writing creative, infectious and enjoyable music. An ambitious and determined group, Ten Toes Over are no ordinary run of the mill band, more a band who seek to innovate and strive to be different in their own right. They have an original, punchy, overdriven yet melodic tone which seeks to link certain infectious elements of particular genre's and make it their own.
Ten Toes Over seek to combine soulful, sing-a-long vocals with infectious guitar licks to combine a rich, powerful sound, with a tight rhythm section. Their music means whatever you want it to mean, they are just experiences, thoughts and expressive emotions about what everyone has felt at some point in their life. Lose yourself in their music, and paint a picture in your own mind.

Your heat of Marlborough Town FC Battle of the Bands 2 is now full. You have been placed in Heat Four, on July 12th 2008. The rules are as follows:-
Entry fee is £25. The winner of each of the four heats will go forward to the Final on July 26th 2008. The winner of the Final will get £300. The remaining £100 will cover the PA hire for 4 heats and the final. Order of playing will be drawn on the night, first band there can draw first, last band there gets what slot is left. You will have to provide a non-playing person to judge the other three acts, and mark five categories out of ten marks each. Other neutral judges will mark all four bands. Highest total score wins. Bands will only be allowed to play one cover.
The four bands in your heat are:-
Ten Toes Over (Marlborough) Feed The Addiction (Newbury) Diversion (Swindon) Remains (Marlborough)
It is up to the bands to communicate between themselves over kit sharing. If you turn up without stuff and no-one will lend you kit, then you play the best you can with what you have.
I AM NOT GETTING INVOLVED WITH SORTING OUT KIT SHARING THIS YEAR.
Can you please send the entry fee to me at the address I will message to you at a later date, by May 1st 2008.
