With a focus on acoustic originals, Ten Years Too Late is a Providence-based trio featuring vocals, guitar, violin, mandolin, and the occasional rockin’ tambourine. Started late in 2005, when founding members Matthew Harvey and Tracie Potochnik wondered why the hell their respective musical talents hadn’t yet been sufficiently released upon the world, the band focused on writing a set of lyrically intimate songs lending themselves to acoustic performance and seamless vocal harmonies. With the arrival of fiddle player Stephanie Kissam in early 2006, the band truly found its sound. Running the gamut from soulful country ballads to upbeat irreverent pop, Ten Years Too Late will make you cry, think, and stomp your feet (sometimes all at once).
Thanks for the email invitation to your Pawtucket show - made me miss Rhode Island. Any chance you'll be putting up your Christmas music from your website here?
