    ......" />.. ...... *Formed in March 2001, The original lineup featuring Kenny, Jeff, Andy, Mike, and Goat released 2 albums, and played hundreds of shows in support of the recordings throughout the northeastern US. These albums garnered regional success with the first self-titled effort being sold out within 8 months (1100 copies) and 457 with a few guarded copies left (just over 1050 in circulation). *In 2002, the track 'Owning Up' was chosen out of thousands for the official theme song of No Holds Barred Wrestling talk show on 101.5 WPDH out of Poughkeepsie NY. *From approx 2003 to late 2005 the band played hundreds of shows throughout PA, NJ, & NY. With down to earth attitudes and non-existent egos, the band has never turned down a show, canceled only 2 out of several hundred, and was often found at the bar or in the parking lot partying with their fans. *Often times it seemed the general consensus was to see HOW LONG the band would be there doing that before attempting to play live the intricate, well-orchestrated and thought out riffing and rhythms they had written over six months while sober. Throughout this time, the band found themselves in odd and sometimes dangerous situations in various clubs including full bar room brawls, on stage attacks(although some provoked...lol), broken car windows, DUI's, overturned trucks w/ people we don't know at 2 am, countless tickets for THE VAN, numerous sobriety checks and stop points, Byram Fire Department (thanks guys!), empty record label deals, pulled over and harassed by the police a million times, playing to 14 people with 102 fevers, sold hundreds of tickets for clubs so they could pay their rent for the month (your welcome), we will add more to this list as we think of them. *In 2006, Mike and Goat left the band to concentrate on other interests and were replaced by Tony on bass and Johnny on guitar; equally competent musicians and contributors. Tony plays different from Goat in that he prefers finger playing rather than with a pick. Johnny adds a more hardcore and rock edge to the band as opposed to Mike's straightforward metal approach. *Crushpile continues to play shows in the area and has two more recordings under their belt, albeit unreleased and mysterious, and the band also continues to write new material which doesn't deviate much from the trademark style fans know and love. * (finally!) NEW ALBUM RELEASED SPRING 2010 "BATTLE OF SYRACUSE" .....new tunes, new shows....good times....CP is still alive and rippin it over 9 years later! Check out the new stuff! More shows in the fall, summer shows tend to be tough as well as deep winter months due to snow drifts and monsoons....more to come
