  • Bio

.. ..Hailing From the bourbon swigging, horse bettin town of Louisville, Kentucky, Furlong, named for a 1/8th of a mile distance in horse racing, is a nasty beautiful bloody train wreck of genres. You will hear elements of Punk, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Indie, Funk, Roots, Blues, and Reggae in the middle of this loud and fiery wreck of sound that has no musical boundaries or set style. Yet, the music is set in a pop sensibility. Comparisons have been made to Captain Beefheart, Pavement, Frank Zappa, Ween and The Velvet Underground..... They have finished a 7-inch that will be released this year (2010) on Gubbey Records .. .. "Louisville's Punk Rock Answer To Captain Beefheart"- Leo Weekly .. ..
