The latest artist he's been working with is Universal recording artist, Akon. Shakim, along with Akon, has the featured song on the new Disney feature film, The Shaggy Dog, starring Tim Allen. The film is scheduled for release in March, 2006. Shakim has procured a team of successful musicians and writers and combined their talents to create a sound and show that will excite and stimulate the senses....... ..Project DNA has also energized a fan base throughout the South and West Coast regions and in the UK. This select cast of talent has what it takes to make this venture extremely successful. Shakim is the producer of Project DNA and the lead singer. Shakim was classically trained in 4 languages and has the ability to express that too many different audiences. This band was located in Atlanta, GA but has since started a new path in the Los Angeles-area, performing and electrifying crowds wherever they can....... ..The core individuals who are involved in Project DNA are;.... ..Tony Love.., multi-platinum (18 million records sold) writer and guitar specialist.
