DJoanna

DJoanna, born in 1982, stood for the first time at the turntables at the age of 19. Since then she is a member of the waldfrieden resident djs and presents her deep-pumpin, sparky-fresh through to morning melodies dj-sets all over Germany including bigger bookings at Antaris Project, Full Moon Festival, Wonderland, Indianspirit, Fusion and Atmosphere festival. This girl has also played plenty of gigs in more than ten different countries. Usually she plays her style progressive and it ranges between 138-142 b.p.m. In 2004 the back to back project with Alice D, called Alice D Joanna was founded and grew up succesful with different main floor bookings and their Waldfreakquenz compilation,also participating in porgressive Psy Projects. Djoanna also got infected with minimal elektro techno and started another sideproject with djane Kiddo called “Herrmann Stöhr”, playing funky deep elektro techno with great gigs at Tresor club in Berlin.
