About me:
I grip for a living. What does that mean? Hard to explain. You could call me a lighting technician. But I don't actually touch anything with electricity running through it. I give the light certain shape and quality. Vague I know. Other duties, much simpler to explain, include camera movement (dollies, jibs, cranes), rigging and onset safety. That last brings chills to some. When not working my favorite activity is travel. I try to get out of the county at least once a year. Countries I visited in the past few include Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Egypt. Japan comes this winter. Before working professionally an incredible part of my life was music. In my teens you might have seen me in a pork pie hat and suspenders. Later in life I became involved in the ebm scene. I was even a dj for a time. I can proudly say I've seen over 1000 bands live. And I've been known to get down on the dance floor every now and then. Though usually after a few stiff drinks. I live in LA but hail from DC. I miss home tremendously but this Cali is where my life is.

I LIKE THE WAY YOU TALK
the things you say and the way you say them teach me more than a college maven
you speak like you know ... everything to be known as if you are blessed ... by a knowledge unknown
with slight condescension ... but care none the less with wisdom to share ... and gentle caress
you speak with conviction ... and knowledge to share with slight condescension ... as if you don't care or as if you know ... i won't care either way ... i'm eager to hear
it's like you know ... certain things about me maybe you don't know ... and you're only guessing but the truth from your lips ... i want to know and your guesses are true ... i'm telling you so you speak from your heart ... and your mind just the same for my wild spirit ... is yours to tame teach me and tell me and help me to know for your gifted knowledge will make me grow
but alas let me say, just a few final words i have knowledge to share too ... but it's mostly absurd
