   Lauren's Blurbs
About me:
Can you tell from the headline that I write historical fiction? After too many Cambridge winters shivering in the stacks of Harvard's library, I decided to enliven my studies with... well, you might call it a creative reconstruction of the past. It seemed infinitely more amusing to write about dashing Napoleonic spies in the style of the Scarlet Pimpernel than to actually work on my dissertation. I still don't have that PhD, but my first two books, "The Secret History of the Pink Carnation" and "The Masque of the Black Tulip" are both out in print, with a third, "The Deception of the Emerald Ring", to follow in November. For more info on the books and for the official bio, check out my webpage at www.laurenwillig.com.
Who I'd like to meet:
My readers, of course! And anyone else who loves fiction and history-- I'm always on the lookout for new books, so if anyone has any recommendations....

Okay, I FINALLY received my copy. I loved it, as I knew I would!

As a very minor side note: I was surprised about Penelope. It's a twist I just wasn't expecting to happen.

Hey Lauren!
Congratulations on all the praise for "The Temptation of the Night Jasmine". I pre ordered mine but it's sadly been pushed back to the middle of Febuary for some unknown reason. It's killing me! :[ Haha.
Wish I could find it here. I don't even know if it's out the UK yet.
Anyway, hopefully it will pass quickly.
I hope you're enjoying yourself!

TWO WORDS:

LOVED IT! I think this was my favorite of the series! No, I don't think I want to say it's my favorite, that would mean one book was better than another and with your series that certainly isn't the case!

SOOO fantastic! What are the odds we'll ever get a story staring Percy Ponsonby? That kid cracks me up! ;)

Scheduling conflicts are awful. It's too bad that Kate Reading couldn't do it, but great that Justine Eyre came in. I'm only on Ch.
5 right now, but I'm going to finish it in time for the book club!

I'm loving the Night Jasmine book! Go Charlotte and Robert! The Christmas Novella is a great addition too. Can I ask why Kate Reading didn't do the audio? I was surprised when I put the cd in and heard Justine Eyre reading.
