Internationally she is blazed many stages but make no mistake Fire Pashon is not your average female DJ/Singer. Saucy, spirited and bubbling with energy she denotes any misconceptions about her scorching hot performances as its all just part of her personality. Pashon Minott's musical roots can be traced back to her family. Born Tamar Minott in Kingston Jamaica.She is the daughter of the late Great, Reggae music Icon Lincoln Sugar Minott.Her exposure to the music world,began at a tender age,in the stimulating atmosphere of her father's fame and high profile. Recording her very first single at age eight,a song called Reggae The Beat and remembers her father putting her on boxes so she could reach the mike. Pashon also recalls the vibe her father's Youthman Promotion Sound Systems created in their community and around Jamaica.Seeing the likes of Tenor Saw, Junior Reid and Garnett Silk in action inspired her musical progression. .... It was this inspiration that naturally manifested over time which brought Pashon closer to her dreams of one day becoming a recording artiste. As she embraced the industry great things began to happen. A linkup with Dancehall award winning producer Jah Snow Cone brought her significant success in 2005 when she recorded the song Grudgeful on his chart topping Applause Riddim, giving her a taste of the mainstream market. The song was Pashons first Breakout hit and as her radio spins increased so did her recognition which led to a video being shot shortly after. .... From there Pashon began building a vast catalog of singles using newly recorded material to attract a larger fan base. With several extensive tours throughout western cities in North America and appearances at major local events, Pashon has always and continues to represent to the fullest degree. She has toured the world with her great father,and is grateful for the opportunities and guidance she got from him.She is known for her high energy performances and has impressed thousands of fans at shows like, Sting,Reggae Sumfest,Rebel Salute, "St Mary Mi Come From", Sierra Nevada World Music Festival and Reggae X-Plosion in Japan. Also known for contributing her time and effort to help a worthy cause she has done several charity shows both locally and abroad making her a true role-model.Her music is one of empowerment,truth and struggle.
